Kris and Kelli Henthorn
Closet Concepts is owned and operated by Kris and Kelli Henthorn. We live and raised our family in North Texas, and we started this company because we believed a closet business could be run with more care and less noise than the industry usually manages.
Kris brings more than 20 years of hands-on experience in custom storage and home improvement across North Texas. He has measured a lot of closets, and he has seen what happens when the person selling the job never sets foot in the room. Kelli runs the business side, which means when you call, email or book online, you are reaching the people who own the company.
We are not a franchise. We are a family, a truck, a manufacturer we trust, and a standard of work we are not willing to lower.
What independence means for you
Most closet companies you will come across in Dallas Fort Worth are local outposts of national brands. The design might be done by a salesperson, the installation by a subcontracted crew, and the decisions by a corporate office you will never speak to.
We chose a different structure, and it changes three things for you.

Your money goes into the work
There are no franchise fees or national advertising budgets built into our prices. What you pay for is cabinetry, hardware and installation.
You deal with the same people throughout
The person who measures your closet draws your design, and the person who installs it is not a stranger who showed up on the day. If something needs adjusting a year from now, you know exactly who to call.
The manufacturer behind our systems
Our cabinetry is made by Organizers Direct Industries, which has manufactured custom storage systems since 1995 and supplies an independent network of roughly 250 to 300 authorized dealers across the United States and Canada.
Being an authorized ODI dealer gives our clients the full ODI line: one of the widest ranges of finishes, door styles and accessories in the category, produced to the measurements of your specific room. It also gives you the ODI lifetime warranty on cabinetry, under which a cabinetry product that fails in normal use is replaced at no cost.
We chose ODI because the product holds up and because the company works with independents like us rather than around them. It lets a small, local business deliver a system that stands beside anything the national brands offer.
How we work
Every project starts with a free consultation in your home. We measure, we listen, and we draw the design in 3D so you can see the finished space before anything is built. Then we manufacture to your room and install it ourselves.
