How a Closet Concepts project works
A custom closet should not be complicated to buy. You should know who you are dealing with, what the finished room will look like, and what happens on installation day before you commit to anything.
Our process has four steps. Here is what each one involves.
1. A conversation in your home
We start in the actual room.
The consultation is free and there is no obligation at the end of it. We come to your home, measure the space, and talk through how the room is used day to day: what you hang, what you fold, what you can never find, and what annoys you about the closet as it stands. Bring your questions. The more we understand about your daily routine, the better the design will be.
2. A design you can see
Nothing is left to imagination.
We draw the proposed system in 3D design software and walk you through it. You will see the layout, the finish, the door style and the hardware as they will look in your room, and you can move things around before anything is ordered. Once you are happy with the design, you receive a written quote for the complete project. There are no hidden extras added later.
3. Built to your space
Manufactured to your measurements, not cut to fit on the day.
Your cabinetry is manufactured by Organizers Direct Industries to the exact dimensions of your room, in the finish and style you choose from the full ODI range. Because the system is built to the space rather than adapted from stock parts, the fit is clean and the finished result looks like it was always meant to be there. We will confirm your production and installation dates when the order is placed.
4. Installed by us
The people who designed it are the people who install it.
We arrive on the scheduled day, protect your floors and furniture, remove the old shelving where needed, and install the system. Most projects are finished in a single visit, and we will tell you in advance if yours will need longer. When we leave, the room is clean and ready to use. ODI cabinetry carries a lifetime warranty, and if anything needs adjusting afterward, you call us directly.
What we ask of you
Very little. Before installation, the closet or room needs to be emptied so we have clear access to the walls. That is usually the only preparation required, and it is a good excuse to sort through what is going back in.
